As a demonstrator I am able to purchase from this catalogue as of today, sooo my bank balance is a fair bit lighter but my smile is brighter but  when my goodies arrive I will be only have a very short time before I go for babysitting duties. Hello all,

Well we have had a very busy month of July, my husband had holidays and we planned to visit Darwin and surrounds with our caravan and lovely dog Ewokey. SU cardstock vellum is the greatest to work with, never ever buy cheap stuff again after using SU vellum.

Update on Stampin' Up! trimmer blades

Hi, a number of you ladies are telling me that the SU trimmer blades are not lasting as long as they used to. Well it appears you are not alone with this issue and SU are aware of it and have been working on fixing the problem. Not sure what was the issue or how they can rectify it but they are on to it and say future blades are new and improved.

However if you have purchased blades from me in the last month or so we can get replacement blades for you free of charge. Let me know and I will do this for you.

Update of my lack of blogging and how my team has grown

Hi all, sorry I have been very remiss in my blogging this past week or so. Unfortunately we have had to be very very busy with repairing a rental that was rented for 8 years straight and the tenants let the place go over the last year or so.  But after a lot of work and elbow grease we are almost ready to rent it out again. It looks like a new home inside an old shell, well still older bathroom and kitchen but all clean and repainted etc.

My trust in people has been gone downhill as these tenants let us down and then the bond cleaner was a nightmare as well. She lied to my face a number of times about what she had cleaned and when she would turn up etc so made life very difficult. Today I go  back to clean builtin's that she states she has cleaned already.  Hmmm maybe I am just too clean hey as my standards are soo different to a BOND CLEANER.

Then when we hand over to the real estate on Wednesday I will be taking my hard working Hubby off on a weeks holiday. Bit different to the holiday we had planned (the month of July off  with the caravan to Darwin and district).

Unfortunately when this sort of thing occurs something has to sit on the back burner, this has had to be my Stampin' UP! business and my posting on this blog and face book etc. I have tried to maintain my commitment to u guys but sadly just too tired when we get home each day from the house.

As well my commitment to my in-laws as their carer cannot be put in the back burner no matter what else I have to do and this has also taken up some of my time. Thankfully my Father in Law is out of hospital and reasonable well at the moment. I still have to do his dressings on the weekends and maintain daily contact re medications etc, but it is easier when all is going along smoothly.

So please bear with me and know I am conscious of my business and when I can I am still learning as I follow other demonstrators on FB and you tube to maintain up to date on SU events and new techniques etc.

My team has grown by 2 this month, Pam the Charters Towers link has signed 2 wonderful ladies up this month. Also to sharpen your cutting blades you could try running it through folded airfoil. Some say it does extend the life of the blade.

Update of classes

ahh if only I could do some now. Last week was very busy with my Father in Law in and out of hospital due to chest pain and surgery. Now I am the nurse again doing dressings, and the mental health nurse keeping his mind active and supporting my Mother in Law. She does a wonderful job but is 83 so needs lots of support and mostly it's down to me as I do not work full time. However it does impact on my ability to do classes etc as every time i get set to sort classes out and make and takes I have to divert to assist them. But I do this willingly and with love and patience (hmm hard to be that at times) but you guys suffer due to this.

We will get there I hope but I can fit classes in if you message me and let me know, that is the easiest way at the moment due to workload. If I post classes then I need to be available at the time and do the work required to get ready for the class even if no one turns up. By actually seeking a private class that at this time will be the best way for me.

We were meant to be on holidays in July but our rental became vacant and we have a huge job getting it ready for rental again. Put trust in a family who have let me down sadly, but with lots of effort and hard work we will have it spruced up and ready to rent in 2 weeks. Then we may just be lucky to have a short break, my poor hubby had so been looking forward to this holiday as it is a year since his last break. I get to go and babysit which whilst this is not a holiday for me it is time away and spent with my grandchildren who I adore. However me being me, I leave their homes clean as a pin and all the washing, ironing etc up to date and their freezers full of meals, cakes and biscuits. Ahh the love of a Nana.

I have managed to make a beautiful 40th birthday card that is a order I received last markets. Speaking of the market, Renegades Handmade Market is on this weekend but sadly I won't be there, apart from being too busy I will be far too sore to do this market.
