Have just finished a new technique for me, its called a "floating frame card" , I got the idea from Jennifer Maguire who I love to follow and learn from. I used mostly Stampin' UP! products but the numbers are not as we do not have any to use. I love the new Peacock coloured cardstock and the magnolia stamp and die set. I embossed the smaller flowers with our new black shimmery embossing paste and have found a new love with this product. This card is fro my special Mother in Law who turns 85 tomorrow. The "floating Frame" technique requires a special glad and stick product that I found recently at Cosco's in Ipswich, this is not available elsewhere in Aussie that I could find. However it can be done without this product, just a bit more fiddly, but it is quite a fiddly technique as it is but fun fun fun.

Is crafting a big part of your life? Do you want to earn money while doing something you love? How about the convenience of setting your own hours? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, then Stampin' Up! is the perfect opportunity for you.
Being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator means sharing your passion for stamping with family and friends, meeting new people, and building a great business doing so-plus, you get to set your own schedule!
I am here to fully support your Stampin' Up! (SU) journey and will give you all my knowledge and hard learned know-how that I have learnt over the last 5 years since joining and becoming a local Townsville demonstrator. When I joined my up line was and still is Cairns based, whilst she is brilliant and very supportive I would have benefited by a local person who could help me and be by my side to teach/support me in my journey. Townsville is growing fast and we only have a small number of active demonstrators who help our local crafters learn/craft utilising quality, colour coordinated products and to support their SU experience. Wouldn't you, your family and friends like to be able to shop 24/7 from their own couch and have their craft products delivered to their door within 2 weeks and if you join my team you/they will get these quality products at 20% off apart from the initial Starter Kit.
THEN, you’ll receive a $16 gift voucher code the following month to spend on any products that you like .

Update re personal issues and when I will be active again.
Ok, I have been quiet of late due to a number of things, firstly I had surgery on my back so was out of action for a few weeks, then we went on a months holiday which my husband needed soo bad and was very enjoyable. Unfortunately no time for crafting as we moved around inland Qld far too often for me to get set up and craft. Next my son had to have surgery (cricket injury) and that resulted in a Deep Vein Thrombosis and a clot that travelled to his right lung and caused a Pulmonary Embolism and killed off 1/4 of his lung. So the day after we returned from the holiday I flew to Ipswich to be with him and help the family out.
Today I return home to normality, well as much normality as I can have, I will be receiving my new puppy "Frankie" (a female Shizu x Maltese 8 weeks old) on Saturday and at the same time will have 3 grandsons for school holidays so busy times ahead for me. But even so I intend to get my cards etc done and have a Open House to showcase the new 2019-20 catalogue and start regular classes as well. I have no times/dates as yet but I will update as soon as I have them.
I know I have been lax in the past getting regular classes posted but this is a new start for me as I have my mojo back and am keen to be there for all crafters whether they be new or experienced and will be catering for both in my classes. I am also going to focus on scrap-booking classes as well, these classes have not been offered before by me on a regular basis so watch this space for dates and times for those.
Hope this explains my absence and you are prepared to move on with me into our new crafting experience and together we can can create stunning cards and scrapbook pages that will WOW our friends and family.
Look forward to crafting with you all soon,
cheers,
Raye

I welcome new customers and want you to know that I am here for you anytime.
Classes will be starting in July on set days and times each week and will be available for new crafters and experienced crafters at different sessions. There will also be special technique classes held on the weekend as well and they will be posted each month depending on my schedule.
All classes will be run from my house in Douglas and the cost will be $25 per class or $20 for pensioners. That will give you 2 cards to make for beginners and 3 cards for experienced crafters.

I will also be offering a wine and craft night to see how the interest is in having this type of event. If successful I will add this to my class list.
