This is a really informative video by Debbie who is so lovely to share this with us. I know I struggled when I first became a demonstrator as I didn't have local support and had to learn on the go and by mistakes. This video would have been a godsend if it was available way back then.
Mind u I have also learned over time that SU do have how to use their products video's available to demonstrators on their web site, these I am able to share with you guys as well and often do.
So sit back and enjoy this one and learn a few tips and tricks from Debbie.

Baggie Watercolor Wash Technique
https://youtu.be/5oPWs5BybcY
I would love to be your demonstrator
and share these videos so we can all learn together. I am informed that I
should not do this as you may want to go to another demonstrator and it would
be detrimental to my business.
I
do not believe that would occur as I am your local demonstrator and by sharing
and caring your creatives juices will be flowing and you may want to go to my
24/7 online store or come to one of my classes or contact me for a workshop.
If you see any technique or cards that you would like me to teach you please let me know.

Sale A Bration is ending in two days folks

Post Cyclone Debbie
Wow oh wow, what a busy few days we have had. Cyclone Debbie kept me very busy as we had my In-Laws over at our place as they are in a flood prone area. They are both in their eighties and my father-in-law needs a walker and careful watching, they also brought their dog with them and stayed for 2 nights.
Whilst I couldn't do any craft, I was able to give my Mother-in-Law a lovely rest for a couple of days as she had nothing to do. She left looking well rested and well fed, they enjoyed bacon, eggs and hash browns for breaky which they never get and freshly cooked meals. (I cook most of their meals and deliver them to their freezer each week or so). Both have health issues and I like to ensure they have healthy meals that meet these needs. '
Today was undoing all the work we did to safeguard our home in case Debbie came to Townsville as they thought she might. It is amazing what u can shift on a blanket, large cane chairs etc (have bad back so no lifting), so hubby came home to nearly all the work done. Greg put all the furniture inside by himself and it made me fell so guilty but bad bad day with pain when he had to bring it all in.
Now I am back into craft as of tomorrow, off to my usual craft day with my group. I am going to make boxes so watch this space for posts to come.
Thinking of all those affected by Debbie and glad cost to life was minimal. Things can be replace but people cannot.

A gift for someone
I post regularly and have a nice little following but never any comments. So I am throwing a challenge out there to you followers.
1st person to comment on one of my posts with a question, suggestion or inquiry and leave me their email address, I will contact you for postal address and u will receive a gift from me as a thank you.
Comments are always welcome and they can be both positive or negative, I am a crafter, yes, but I learn as I go, so I make mistakes and can be told or advised of my mistakes and how not to make them again. I believe we learn from each other, an issue shared can be an issue solved for us all.

A happy saying and a timely message re cyclones

This can be impacted by road closures etc.
My advice is as follows:
Get prescriptions filled
fill your car
fill your generator if have one
batteries for radio and torch
Candles useless when windy and dangerous but good for post-cyclone
fill bottles with water and put in freezer now to keep food cold' (power is often out for a week or more).
If we are in for a direct hit:
fill as many containers as possible as u may need water to flush toilets etc as well as drinking water
Have bbcue inside if we are to be hit.
Have plenty of pet food if u have pets
We eat out of the freezer in these times so spoilage is kept to minimum
Nappies and baby essentials (stock UP) expecially milk
Have long life milk (small containers so you don't have to keep cold)
Clean UP your YARD
I have seen a piece of wood 6 foot lonf and 2 inches wide fly right beside me and somehow totally miss my car from a puff of strong wind the day before the cyclone hit.
Prevention is the best way for us to be safe.
Be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.
Stay safe guys and help others to do the same.

note from me to you

Believe it or not but you are a crafter and can create lovely cards and creations.
Hi guys, been a bit off this week as have a very bad back and whilst I have been learning craft from UTube and video's, I have not been in my messy craft room. However, I will be and will post my next classes as soon as I can. Thank's for your patience.

Cards made at our make and take yesterday
The above card is a Z fold Box card (thanks to Debbie and Frenchie for sharing their design). I used a cupcake stamp set and dies and the new Ballons stamp and die set for these cards. Difficult card to make but once mastered is fun fun fun. I see endless possibilities with it.
This one is using our beautiful you stamp set in the occasions catalogue, we did a bit of water colouring with ink and our aqua painter.
You too could make these cards with me, all you need to do is come to a class, beginner to advanced. Cost is a mere $25 for 2-3 make and takes and you do not have to supply anything as I have it all here for you. Allow 2 hrs for a class. Cheap hey. And by the way you will get to make your own cards that I will have just cut out for you, so you do learn how to make a card and achieve a successful professional looking card and envelope. Yes, we do our own envelopes too.
