Video of my new and improved craft room (very amateur movie clip).
Hi, here is a tour of my revised craft room. Recently we brought a 2nd hand cupboard that fits 12x12 card-stock and designer series paper really well, it also has loads of shelves and I am able to store all my card-stock and DSP behind doors to keep the dust out. This is my 2nd ever video (however the first one I spoke for 8 min without the video turned on) so please bear with me as I am definitely a amateur.

Open House tomorrow 0930-1230 9 New England Court Douglas
Well have I been a busy girl, tomorrow is my first open house for the new 2017-18 Stampin' Up! catalogue. So I have been head down and ... up (u get the picture) making cards with all the new goodies I have purchased from the catalogue.
Today I played with the new embossing paste and used it on cards and a scrap booking page. Wow I love it, we have new stencils to go with the paste as well as tools to make life very easy, just have to have a dish of water close our paste dries fast. Will post photo's after open house events finish. All who attend will go home with a goodies bag and someone will win a lucky door prize. And all the ladies will get to play with some of my new goodies in a make and take table. Should be fun and games and plenty of cake and coffee as well.
If you cannot make it for this event please email me and I will put on another day more suitable for you. rpgmillican@gmail.com

https://youtu.be/U2YYo7pFnq8
Thank you, Lisa, for bringing this to our attention, I myself am waiting for my order which has the Fresh Florals designer series paper stack in it. I would have thought it was faulty if I hadn't seen this video first. So am sharing it with you guys so that you do not think your order of DSP is faulty either.

having an issue with bubbling ink on some of our new ink pads (hear is a solution/s)
Hi guys I have another question. Are any of you having a problem with your new (lemon lime twist which I'm using) stamp pad bubbling up on a wood mount stamp. And if you are how do you get rid of it? Do you notice how it's bubbling and not stamping complete.
the first answer is my fav:
Stacey Lisk here's what I shared to my customers:
TIP: Head to local resale shop, $1 store or big box discount store and pick up a few cheap spoons to keep in your craft room. The new ink pads store ink differently than the old. Bubbles just means the ink needs to be pushed back into the pad and the back of a spoon (like you're frosting a cake) will do the trick! Use the same spreading technique with reinker drops when it's time to add ink to a dry ink pad! I suggest a few spoons because sometimes you want to do a few before having to get up to clean or grab a baby wipe!

Amanda Walker I find stamping tap tap really really hard and fast helps with photopolymer stamps and new ink pads. I guess, in a way, that helps to push the excess ink down into the pad
Janet Oberg I stamp the ink pad onto folded paper towels twice in order to pull ink off the pad. My upline Debbie Dutchess taught me this trick and it has made a world of difference!

Christine Tyrrell Mine did the same thing. I found stamping with clear versa mark ink and then the lemon lime twist I got much better results.

Wendy Reed I push the ink up towards the back of the pad, it helps.

Thank you, Amanda, from the UK for sharing and making 3 cards from the Soft Sayings Kit. It is so much easier to see how easy cards are to make when someone demonstrates it for us.
And Amanda was really enjoying the experience even though she is an experienced demonstrator like myself.
