Everyone who places an order in my Online Store during the month of January and uses the Hostess Code  XKWKSHTD  will receive a handmade card created by me.  I'll leave it blank on the inside, so you can either keep it for inspiration or turn around and send it off to a loved one.  Your order will be shipped directly to your door, and I'll send the card to you soon thereafter.

* PLEASE NOTE: If your order exceeds $300 before s&h and tax, do not use the Hostess Code and you'll qualify for FREE Hostess Rewards.  Collect enough orders to reach $450 and you'll receive an additional $25 in Hostess Rewards.

Have been very busy with my family visiting with my 3 beautiful Grandchildren. Lots of sleepovers and family dinners and interactions have kept me out of my craft room. We have done craft with the kiddies making easter cards for their parents.

Precision Plate and warping of your cutting plates

a lady posted this on Facebook today and I thought it good to share her comment and my reply.Using precision plate with magnetic platform...no matter how the plate is sandwiched it ends up so warped I have to trash it! Waste of money and time to fiddle with it.....My Preferred sandwich with magnetic platform, but doesn't always cut intricate dies well....what's the solution?

my reply:
 guys, the precision plate is only meant for the most intricate dies or it will warp your plates for sure. If you have warped plates ensure u leave them rolled under the rollers when not using them and this helps to keep them flat. The precision plate was brought out when Stampin' Up! introduced their range of intricate dies and it works brilliantly for them as we do not have to spend ages getting out all of the small bits with a pokey tool. I also use the big shot brush as well that SU sell to aid in removing the little bits. I know its a pain to get the precision plate out for just intricate dies but it is worth it and ur plates will not warp if u use it as intended. I know cause I learn the hard way.

You can collect it from me or I can deliver,  alternatively, you can collect one from me every 2nd Sunday at Renegades Handmade Markets at Marion School Currajong 8-1. I offer these catalogues free of charge (I have to buy them) so postage on top is a bit too much for my meager budget so collecting/delivering is my preferred options.
